Day 1: The Everest Base Camp

Arrive whenever you like.

Day 2: Kota Kinabalu/Kundasang in Malaysia.

Visit Mesilou Village, nestled in the mountains, where you'll find lush vegetation and a kind welcome.

If you have time, stop by a nearby farm owned by a family to observe the variety of cold-climate veggies and fruits.

Spend time with the locals and learn about their daily lives over a traditional meal.

Visit two farms in the area in the afternoon, and then learn to create creative cuisine with the community at a local restaurant.

Afterward, see a traditional Sabahan dance performance before a delicious meal.

Day 03: Kundasang/Sungai Kinabatangan

The Kinabatangan River, the longest in Sabah, may be reached from Sandakan by continuing on to the Kinabatangan Jungle Lodge.

As soon as you've settled in, take an evening ride on the river (where you could see birds, monkeys, and even crocodiles!) to take in the peace and quiet.

After supper, take a nighttime forest walk with a guide.

Day 04 : Sungai Kinabatangan, Sumatra

Take an early-morning river excursion to see animals in action.

After breakfast, join a professional guide to search for probosci's monkeys, pygmy elephants, macaques, and gibbons at a local oxbow lake.

Before returning to the resort for supper, take a second river ride to see if you can see any additional animals.

Day 5: Sungai Kinabatangan/Sepilok

After breakfast, depart towards Sepilok, where you'll find an abundance of animals to explore.

You may visit the rehabilitation center for orangutans and the sun bear conservation center that is just next door to it.

Day 06:  Sepilok and Pulau Libaran

The island of Libaran, home to tens of thousands of nesting sea turtles, is also known as Turtle Island and can be reached by boat from Sandakan.

You may learn about the island's turtle conservation efforts by taking a guided tour of the hatchery.

Later, explore the island's native village to get a taste of island life.

If you have some spare time, consider going snorkeling or kayaking.

Day o7: Pulau Libaran/Kota Kinabalu

Travel returns to the Sandakan jetty from Libaran Island after breakfast.

To go to Kota Kinabalu, take a flight from the jetty to Sandakan airport.

Spend your first day in Jesselton Point, a seaside region filled with stores and street food vendors, exploring and shopping.

Visit the well-known Filipino market or the Signal Hill observatory for a stunning sunset view of Kota Kinabalu.

Day 8: Kota Kinabalu.

You are free to leave at any point.
