Baku – Sheki 2

Day 01: Transfer from Baku Airport to your accommodation

Day 2:  Baku sightseeing

Met and guided by our guide. and you will be directed to the following locations:

1.Old City Baku (Maiden Tower, traditional hammams and Shirvanshah's Palace,

2. Haydar Aliyev Museum - History of Azerbaijan exhibitions and museums;
3. a visit to Highland Park
4. Carpet Museum

Day 03- Tour of Qobustan and Absheron

we will go further into the history of Azerbaijan.

-Qobustan National Park and Museum -Qobustan Rock Art Petroglyphs Museum -Azerbaijan's Mud Vulcanoes

Fire Temple - Yanardag - Fire Mountain

 Day 04 - Tour of a beach resort in Baku

Transfer from the hotel to the yellow-sand beach resort in Baku.

Day 05- Transfer from Baku to Sheki

-Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza settlement -Juma Mosque in Shamakhi - The earliest mosque in the Caucasus -Visit the renowned old and historical town of Azerbaijan - Lahij Village -Seven Beauty Waterfall en route to Sheki city.

Lake Nohurgol is a large lake surrounded by forest. You may wander along the beach and sail a boat. We will have one hour to amuse ourselves there, and there is a restaurant where lunch may be purchased.

Day 06 - Day in Sheki city –

visit the Upper Caravanserai which is a historical landmark in Sheki a part of it is used as a hotel

- The Palace of Shaki Khans in Shaki, Azerbaijan served as the Shaki Khans' summer palace. It was constructed by Mohammed Hasan Khan in 1797.

-Museum of Sheki's cultural history

-House of Hand Crafts where you may purchase handcrafted originals at a very affordable price.

- Dine at a local eatery in Sheki and sample "Piti," the city's signature dish.

-Albanian Church in Kish village - In the first century A.D., St. Elishe, a disciple of Thaddeus of Edessa, traveled to Gis, where he constructed a church and delivered a liturgy. The church became the "spiritual heart and site of illumination for East Asians."

-Shop for Sheki's native candies -Return to Hotel

Day 07: Journey to Qakh from Sheki

Transfer to Qakh city - Mamirli Waterfall - short distance on foot to Mamirli Waterfall

Sumuq Fortress - Discover some of the history of Qakh

-Sangar Fortress - Local cuisine in Qakh - Return to Hotel in Sheki

Day 08 - transfer back to Baku

Transfer to Haydar Aliyev International Airport,
